About Me

Professional Bodybuilder. NASM Certified Coach. Sprinter. Animal Lover.

Since a very young age, I’ve been fascinated with how things worked and how they were created. I would take things apart to see if I could re-assemble them and have them work as if I never took them apart. This was the beginning of the engineer that wanted to design a great physique. Having studied the physiques of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the bodybuilders of that era, and the comic book characters such as superman and wolverine, I started sculpting my body with a dumbbell and a bench. Some years later I acquired a degree in engineering, but my passion for sculpting physiques never faded, it rather strengthened when I witnessed my friend compete and win in 2009. My passion drove me to have the courage to start learning about bodybuilding and begin competing. I took a great leap of faith to pursue my dream to become one of fitness greats and share my gift with the world.

Why Bodybuilding?

Methods for fitness come and go, but bodybuilding has remained my favorite sport because it enables me to creatively sculpt my body aesthetically exactly how I want it to look. It’s the artistic engineer in me that loves this sport over any other!

“Dreams should become your thoughts.
Thoughts should become plans.
Plans should become actions which lead to fulfillment!”

Growth

I’ve been vegan since 1998 due to embracing my ITAL Rastafarian roots (Ital: natural living off of the land for food and life). It wasn’t common for a vegan to be a competitive bodybuilder, but that didn’t discourage me, it rather gave me more passion to pursue my dream. In 2009 I stepped on stage for the 1st time and placed 3rd in a tough class. This only increased my drive to become better. Within the next 6 months from my first competition, I competed in my 2nd show ever and not only won my class of 16 men, but also won the overall with a Pro card. Throughout the recent years, I’ve placed within the top three with 5 different organizations and attained 4 different pro cards. Albeit my accomplishments, by no means does it say that I know it all. Growth is only feasible when the mind is humble and willing to search of ways to learn. I look at LIFE (Living In Freedom Everyday) as a journey where mistakes become lessons learned and stepping stones for growth.

My Future

What inspires me the most is that I’m able to motivate thousands across the world to have the courage to pursue their dreams and give them courage! It’s heartwarming to see pictures and messages of people I inspire in some kind of way to pursue their dreams. Each message I receive gives me more passion to grow and share this message with the world! As much as we are individually gifted, we are more powerful when we let go of our ego and understand that we are ONE!
